Its W for Wednesday #778 And a T for Tuesday!

Happy WOYWW #778! getting closer to the anniversary date! And Happy T day for yesterday! Sorry to join these two posts together again, but sometimes things overtake me on the inside lane and I'm left wondering 'What day is it!?' I'm walking dogs in a minute! so I'm typing quick, there will be mistooks with my smelling! I'll double check it, when I get back. On my kitchen counter this morning are things I must do.  Make some birthday cards, using those two LawnFawn diecuts, which I've had for ages and not use yet and, scan in my drawings of Snuffy the Hamster (which I drew decades ago including writing a story, for my two girls) And!! Not forgetting!!  I must make same ATC's!

One cold cup of tea...plus more tags/tabs made from rubbish... I had my order from Hobby Craft, so now have plenty of that decopatch at half price! Yay! So that meant I had another box to start cutting up. Not finished that yet.

Then once more I got side-tracked and started making more things out of normally 'throw in the recycle bin' card.. I was using pill boxes and handcream boxes and a few unmentionable boxes. My bargain of the week was that little hole puncher for about 80p!

Outside under the carport- (although it was built by John so he could work on his bikes... which are still there. I can't move them, they're too heavy!) are loads of flowers.  I'm potting on ready for the summer!

My replacement blender arrived last week. I think I had a moan about it... not the one I ordered, not the one they said they would send and worse still, they charged me the same even though it's half the price!! No answer back from them yet...

A Pencil and coloured pencil Freebie for you

 I wrote this little story about our hampster, Snuffy, for my girls when they were little, so that must've been blur-blur-blur a hundred decades ago and came across the book in the attic looking a bit worse for wear, so decided to copy all the drawings to my laptop. Then thought, would this one be any good as a freebie??  Well, not a forever freebie, just one for this week... Anyway, I'll see how this goes...or doesn't go, and may add another one or two, later... If my printer was printing properly, instead of printing like it's had too many gins, I had an idea to make all the pictures into little gift cards... hmmm. Its Definitely WOYWW!?Day #777 I think!

 Hello WOYWWERS! First I'd like to say, sorry if I'm not getting around to you all, but I am! It's just that the comment bit, where you click on to leave your comment... has not always been working for me for some time. I even have a problem leaving one on my own blog!  So that's another blogger problem I have to add to the list.

Above is what I did with last weeks geliprint mishap, where it stuck to the gelPlate... I made these into ATC's. This week, I've been busy with dogs, so decided once they'd gone back to theirs homes, and I'd tidied up, (Long job) I'd just  potter about, sticking things to other things... Keeps my mind from going into meltdown. I needed some storage boxes... so covered these. The bigger one was once a wine bottle box, just cut in half. I've used tons of scraps and coffee stained book pages and for the first time....

I used this....and liked it. Last month I went all the way over to Hobby Craft to buy the large container at half price with my birthday coupon, only to find they didn't have any left. 😒

I don't know what the difference is between the green and the black lid, as Emma, my daughter gave me the nearly empty green lidded one... anyway, love it and must get some more! (The BIGGER one!)

This box was cut in half... and I can still make another one from the bit I cut off, and the smaller one below, was also covered in the same papers, which were darken first with TH distress Oxide,

 

  I also made...

 bag tabs, with papers from a very old crafty callender by Cardmaking and Paper Craft, over a decade ago. (I never throw anything away!)

 Tags,tabs, labels, and bookmarks made with scraps and packaging.

..Envelopes. I saw someone making an envelope journal with bigger envelopes so used up some of my 6x6 papers...hoping to turn them into a 'little envelope journal' later and...

....Just Labels, because my printer is still not printing properly, it's all fuzzy and out of focus, I can't print out any labels, so I stamped some instead.

 

Some are backed onto that brown recycled card and some are left as paper/thin card.

And-what is on my work top this Wednesday? No! Its T for Tuesday!

 I've been very busy this week... so,  of course I've lost days again. Had dogs to stay while their family had an urgent visit somewhere. I'd washed all the towels, blankets etc and put them out to dry and the line broke... again! Shhish! I'll backdate this post otherwise I'll confuse you, or me! For T stands for Tuesday, I usually show my boring breakfast... but my blender for my whizzed up friut juice suddenly stopped. So I ordered another one... They texted me saying they were out of stock and they'd send me another one, the same, no!  Told me it was a three in one, no! Told me it was the same price, again, NO! lies all round. So I've asked for some change... quiet a bit of change actually... Pigs will fly over a frozen Hell before I hear from them again! *

   And!! changing the subject, I found out, after the car had been in for it's MOT and service, there was this little sign on the dash board, like a clock, a lollipop and a number. I thought it may have something to do with speed... but no, I could still go as fast as I wanted ...until... I got onto the faster roads and it would NOT budge above 40mph... you should've seen the queue I had behind me! I stopped in a car park, panicked then, played with the dials and levers, very scared I would make it worse... like, not being able to drive back over 5mph... but, it worked. Phew. So, I'm afraid, yesterday, the real Tuesday was spent playing with crafty stuff (to calm me down)... more on that in Wednesday's WOYWW post... (that will be late too) So, about the above breakfast picture.Todays breakfast is with a new tea drink, Elderflower and Lemon. It comes in a bottle and not a tin.  Definitely my favourite.  Not poridge, but Crunchy Nut CornFlakes plus fruit... also a favourite... plus, coz I needed a smiley face, later, I made a loverly cappuccino with cream and a dusting of chocolate, served with a couple of chocolate chip cookies.(Don't tell the diabetic nurse) That's it for now! Yesterday I was house, dog and Professor sitting, and there was a lot of knitting going on.... so I thought, while I was there, I'll draw a Knitty Kitty and here she is! It's WEDNESDAY! What's On Yours???#776

 Morning Crafty Peoples. It's a WOYWW day, again! Pop over to Stamping Ground and join in!! As you can see...still no luck at adding a new background to my blog! Never mind...To stop me thinking about it, and going in and probably deleting it all by mistake, (like I nearly did to my digi store) I thought I'd play with my smaller Gel Plate.    I'm waiting for some crafty goodies to arrive from Craft Stash, as they were having a sale, and seeing with the extra VIP discount it means the T Holzt inks I want/need, will be cheaper than where I normanly buy them, which is Emerald Crafts in Lyndhurst. Sadly they will be closing their doors at the end of the month after about 17-18 years! Where am I going to buy my large bottle of Collall glue from!? I was going to go up there this morning, but then I had a message that my package would be arriving in an hour (yeah ok) So I played with my paints...disaster!! The paper stuck to my gelplate... I took a picture of my mess, and even that came out blurry...Then!!! ding ding on my phone, (not on the front door) and my package had been delivered! Yay!

So, with my new goodies, I salvaged my mistake... and used my new inks and oxide inks over some stencils (I had in my stash) and way hey! I think that will do for some ATC's.

My Craft Stash package contained TimHolzts inks and oxide, and a notch and corner punch, which was less than half price. But I think my baragain of the week, from a charity shop, was the 'as new' six hole puncher, for £3, seen in the left hand corner.  I've been looking for one of those for ages, so, a lucky find!
